1. Understanding Returns with Shipzen

Shipzen acts as a shipping facilitator, not the original seller of the goods you purchase. Therefore, this policy primarily addresses how returns to the original merchant are handled when using our services.

All returns of merchandise must be initiated and authorized directly with the original merchant/seller according to their specific return policy.Shipzen does not determine return eligibility or handle refunds for the merchandise itself.

2. Initiating a Return with the Merchant

  • Contact the merchant from whom you purchased the item(s).
  • Follow their instructions to request a return authorization (RMA - Return Merchandise Authorization, if applicable).
  • Obtain the correct return shipping address from the merchant.
  • Clarify with the merchant who is responsible for the return shipping costs (you or the merchant).
  • If the merchant provides a prepaid return label, ensure it is suitable for use from the Shipzen facility location (usually within the same country as the facility). International return labels are often not provided by merchants.

3. Processing Returns Through Shipzen

Once you have authorization from the merchant, you can arrange the return shipment via your Shipzen account:

If the Item is Still at the Shipzen Facility:

  • Log in to your Shipzen account and locate the package you wish to return.
  • Select the option to initiate a return shipment.
  • Provide the merchant's authorized return address.
  • Upload any required documentation (like the RMA form or merchant communication).
  • If the merchant provided a prepaid label:Upload the label file. A processing fee may apply for us to print and attach the label. Ensure the label is correct for pickup from our facility address.
  • If you need to purchase return shipping:Select a domestic shipping service (if returning within the same country) from the available options. You will be responsible for this shipping cost.
  • Pay any applicable Shipzen service fees (e.g., label processing fee, return handling fee) and the return shipping cost (if not prepaid by the merchant).

If the Item Has Already Been Shipped Internationally to You:

  • You are responsible for arranging and paying for the international return shipment directly back to the merchant using a carrier of your choice.
  • Shipzen cannot typically facilitate international returns *back* to the merchant from your location.
  • Ensure you comply with all export regulations from your country and import regulations of the merchant's country.

4. Fees Associated with Returns

  • Return Shipping Costs:Unless the merchant provides a valid prepaid label, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to the merchant.
  • Shipzen Return Handling Fee:A fee may apply for processing the return shipment from our facility (e.g., preparing the package, coordinating carrier pickup). See our pricing page for details.
  • Label Printing Fee:If you provide a prepaid label electronically, a small fee may apply for printing and attaching it.
  • Original Shipzen service fees (e.g., initial receiving, consolidation, international shipping costs if already shipped to you) are generally non-refundable as per our Refund Policy.

5. Timelines and Important Considerations

  • Be mindful of the merchant's return window. Initiate the return process promptly.
  • Shipzen requires [e.g., 1-3 business days] to process a return shipment request from our facility after receiving all necessary information, labels, and payments.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by merchants, carriers, or customs during the return process.
  • Ensure the item is packaged securely for the return journey. Shipzen is not liable for damage incurred during return transit due to inadequate packaging.
